I’ve so much rage inside feels like it’s tearing me apart.
I think of all the times that I’ve been felt up on the train
and every time a story breaks I relive all the pain.

And I don’t know what to say
To make the patriarchy go away

In bars in pubs in fields in clubs, Men’s hands upon my arse
Erections pressed against my back When I’m just trying to get past.
And you say we’re all humourless, that consent is too complex
But it’s really not that hard to say ‘would you like to have sex?’

And it’s not all men I hear you cry
But it’s yes all women is my reply

it seems like every single day
One more abuser’s got away
With acting in an awful way
(breathe) all that you can say is that’s a shame
I liked his early work
He never seemed like such a jerk
The woman sounds a bit berserk
Maybe she's just doing it for attention
